During Cultural Sunday on 10 May, musical creative genius Eddie Solomon will take to the stage of home theatre Het Zevende Huis. Before the eyes and ears of the audience, he will build up live layered compositions using a loop station, armed only with an acoustic guitar, a violin and his warm voice.
In a performance full of dynamics, emotion and craftsmanship, he takes his audience along intimate and fragile songs, interspersed with intriguing soundscapes in which the violin plays a prominent role. Personal stories are the common thread in a musical whole that is supported by beautiful melodies.
Here and there, recognisable influences of artists such as Doe Maar, Nick Cave, Stef Bos and Bob Dylan resound - always translated into their own, unique jacket. It's Mother's Day so feel free to bring your mum along.
There are two performances: at 3pm and 4.15pm.
