The Tattas want to have a nice holiday at home, but their plans fall apart when they suddenly have to leave their flat and temporarily move to the strange and infamous German Quarter. But Erik sees a way out: a sun holiday!
His father Richard tips the very cheapest travel agency in a giant bazaar in the German quarter. Erik soon realises something is not right and when he wants to protect an old lady from being scammed, an argument breaks out with huge consequences. Erik receives a hefty fine (goodbye holiday pay!) and has to work at the bazaar. He solemnly promises his family that they will still go on holiday. But the sly manager of the bazaar keeps coming up with new tricks to increase Erik's debt.
