Since the first beavers were released in 1988, the beaver population has increased to 250 beavers with 86 lodges at the last count.
During this trip, the skipper points out the tracks left by beavers all over the Biesbosch. At dusk, the beavers become active and there is a good chance of seeing them swimming around in the creeks.
The museum is open on these days until departure time of the boat. Please note: a ticket for the museum is included in this cruise. You can visit the museum prior to the cruise.
