A3 Hogenhorst from Giessen is an unusual artist who combines her works with printmaking and accompanies them with poems. This is reflected in her work Biesbosch in words and colours. The second exhibition is inspired by the theme Chava (Hebrew for"leven" or "living") from female strength.

A3 Hogenhorst's poems and paintings arise from the all-embracing theme of "seeing". They literally depict what she perceives and experiences. She sees her work as a search for substantive connection between the workings of pen and brush. After graduating from the Art Academy with 1st and 2nd degrees, she found her way in both visual art and poetry.

After graduating from the Art Academy with 1st and 2nd degrees, she found her way in both visual art and poetry.

Her work has been received on a variety of stages in recent years: including Radio 1, the Candlelight Concert, Oh Freedom, Manivesta and Fortissimo. A poem of hers was chosen by the municipality of Delft and placed as a work of art in the Maria van Jessekerk. She previously exhibited in Fort Vuren, slot Loevestein and Het Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom.
