Castle Day "Castles on stilts
until 25 May
Contact
On 25 May, Whit Monday, the National Castle Day will take place at Dussen Castle.
The gates of the castle and the castle garden will open at 11.00 am and everyone is cordially invited to come and have a look in and around the castle.
This year's theme is 'Castle On Stilts'. It promises to be a colourful affair and there is plenty to do for young and old alike. Old crafts, demonstrations, street theatre, stilt walkers, face painting, musical entertainment by De Blaosmiesen, dance workshops, paddle boats, a cosy market, snacks and drinks.... This year, the park is transformed into a wonder forest where children can meet special characters. And the Baroness rides her furry snail Boris around the grounds.
At noon, alderman Anneloes van Hunnik will be at the castle for a welcome speech.
Location: Dussen Castle, Binnen 1 in Dussen. Parking is free.
Entrance: 0-3 years free | 4-12 years € 5 | adults € 10 | Friends pass holders free entrance
