Saxophonist Yuri Honing and his band have been inspired by David Bowie for years. With their distinctive ‘reworks’ approach, they transform Bowie’s music, art and drive for innovation into their own contemporary jazz sound. Their interpretations, including the track streamed millions of times, form the basis for a new project in which jazz and Bowie’s soul and pop come together in the quartet’s unique sound.
