Bicycle expedition in search of eagles

Water safety comes first, but since the completion of this Room for the Rivers project (called Noordwaard), nature has been given free rein. If you give water space, nature naturally follows. An area that is a swim-by for fish (resting, spawning, growing and nursery area) and a table-deck for birds.

Impressive species such as the osprey and the sea eagle hunt and leven here, and of course you will also go in search of these impressive eagles. This is how you discover the unique dynamics of the Noordwaard.

The excursion starts with a 20-minute presentation in the film room of the Biesbosch MuseumEiland. Then you get on your bike for a two-hour cycling tour.
