New Year's concert in Het Zevende Huis

On 9 January, you can enjoy a dazzling New Year's concert. Irish trekzak giant David Munnely will then take to the stage of the home theatre in the Knipsteeg. It starts at 8pm. Hall open at 7.30pm. Please register at: info@zevendehuis.nl There will be a hat for the musician.

David Munnelly, born in County Mayo is called the Bullet from Belmullet. He has toured with well-known Irish musicians such as The Chieftans, Niamh Parsons, Richie Buckley and Christy O Leary. David is a restless and curious musician; always searching for the limits of both his instrument and Irish folk music. He weaves jazz, impressionism, various folk styles into his compositions that still have a scent of the Irish landscape. In the Netherlands, his talent has not gone unnoticed. With several projects, he recorded CDs. He has performed before, in the early days of Het Zevende Huis, on stage in the Knipsteeg and amazed audiences with his virtuoso playing, range of sounds, juicy stories and unprecedented passion for Irish music.
