On Saturday 27 June 2026, the Lingehaven in Gorinchem will once again form the atmospheric backdrop for the Lingehaven Concert. This year, the concert will be entirely dedicated to classical film music under the title Lingehaven at the Movies.

Starting at 20:00, conductor Jules van Hessen will take the audience past recognisable masterpieces and special musical pearls from the world of film. Together with a large orchestra and various soloists, it promises to be a magical summer evening full of musical class by the water.
Special guest during this edition is soprano Josephina Louise Hoogstad. She graduated from Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and received the prestigious Jacques de Leeuw prize for young top talent in her graduation year. She then continued her studies in Italy, where she performed leading roles and won several international awards.

New during this edition is the afternoon programme starting at 13:00. Prior to the evening concert, Stichting Lingehavenconcert organises an Open Podium where musicians from Gorinchem and the region can show their talent to the public.
