By now a familiar face from the lunch-time concerts: Liguster. This Gorkum-based family folk band has previously performed a cheerful, wonderful set of music that both moved and surprised the audience. Especially for this performance, they will present new material from their own repertoire, booklets with historical texts and collections of old songs and rhymes. The polyphonic flawlessly sung own lyrics are interspersed with folky covers, cabaret songs and, polyphonically, a capella traditionals. The musical gems are light-heartedly and humorously explained.
