1 September - Back to school
A new month means a fresh start. Schools are starting again and Hartje Gorcum welcomes pupils and students with open arms. Time to take off your school bike, pack your rucksack and head into town after school. Whether you stop for an ice cream, go shopping or just hang out with friends on the city rampart: Gorcum is alive, also after school.
6 September Karaoke Party at Club Senz
Grab the microphone, choose your favourite song and sing along during the Karaoke Party at Club Senz. Whether you dare to shine solo or prefer to take the stage together with friends, it promises to be a fun evening full of music and sing-alongs.

The exhibition 'Wandering through Time and Colour' by Carina van Pelt is on display in the Grote Kerk until 13 September. Expect colourful line games and exciting compositions that take you on a visual journey. The impressive space of the church enhances the experience of the artworks. The exhibition can be visited on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as during the Cultural Sunday on 14 September.

A unique opportunity to take a look behind the facades. New this year: the Taste Water Festival. During this culinary event, you taste your way past 11 special locations on and around the Linge and Merwede rivers. With a strip ticket, you will discover flavours that are all connected to water in one way or another. From fresh fish to local wines - each location offers its own dish or drink. 14 September - Documentary screening 'My Way in Pyongyang'
For those looking for depth: the Hendrick Hamel Museum Museum will screen the documentary My Way in Pyongyang on 14 September. Filmmaker Rob Niemantsverdriet gives a rare and personal insight into daily leven in North Korea with his secretly shot film. The screening starts at 2pm and will be introduced by the filmmaker himself.

On Saturday 20 September, Gorinchem is all about inclusivity, visibility and celebration. During Gorinchem Pride, organised by COC Rotterdam and the local working group Gorinchem, we celebrate being allowed to be who you are.
During the day, activities will take place at several locations in the city, including a Pink Church Service, a Pride March, an info market and a drag queen pageant. Everyone is welkom to join in the celebration, learning and connecting.
