On the corner of Vismarkt and Burgstraat stands the former residential house't Coemt al van God from 1563. According to a legend, a vrouw who had grown rich trading lived here. Her attic was full of grain, which she kept for a higher price. Even when a famine broke out, she refused to distribute the precious grain. One day she went to the attic and saw that all the grain had spoilt in 1 night: she had lost her entire capital!
