Discover the beautiful outlying area east of Gorinchem. You walk along the former Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, Waal and Linge and over historical dykes and paths. Be surprised by this special varied landscape. Clogs on, backpack on and go!
If you walk the Vurensche Polderpad all the way, you will have 15 km in your legs. You can also walk the alternative length of 7 or 18 km.
The starting point has been moved (temporarily) to the Dorpsplein in Vuren because the dike at Vuren is being strengthened.
The route has red markings in the shape of a clog and is marked in two directions, so you can walk it either left or right. Parts of this path can be muddy in wet periods, so bring sturdy shoes or boots.
