The Jan-van-Arkel Mill is an octagonal windmill on a brick tower, built 400 years ago as a drainage mill in North-Holland. It was moved in the mid-19th century to Arkel and there rebuilt as a corn mill.
The miller offers small groups private tours, in which he demonstrates a.o. the operation of the windmill.
- The tour takes 1 hour, between 11 am and 5 pm.
- Reservation at least 3 days ahead
- Maximum of 10 persons
- There exists the possibility to help the miller in the windmill's operation
- Languages: Dutch, English, German and French
