For many years, the Grote Kerk in Gorinchem has provided a unique stage for the students of the 'Ateliers voor Inspiratie'. This year too, we as Friends of the Grote Kerk are pleased to announce a new exhibition by these trainees, the theme for 2026 is 'Sound and colour. The beauty of music'.

Led by Neeltje Alblas, the artists worked on their interpretation of the theme 'Sound and colour. The beauty of music.'.Music and visual art are complementary worlds that can inspire and enrich each other. Painting music is a creative way to experience and express the beauty and power of both art forms.

Where and when
The exhibition will be opened on 2 May at 3.30pm by Roy Grünewald and can be visited until 14 June on Wednesdays from 11am to 4.30pm and on Saturdays from 1pm to 4.30pm. The exhibition will additionally be on display during Cultural Sundays on 10 May and 14 June. Admission is free as always.choonness of music.
