Cocky baby boomer Bob (65), played by Huub Stapel, finds himself in a personal crisis when his position is undermined on all fronts: he struggles with age-related ailments, can barely keep up with the younger generation at work, turns out not to be an ideal carer for his demented mother and his love life is a mess. His only foothold in all the chaos is his loyal group of friends.At a time when his relationship with the much younger Fee (Jennifer Hoffman) is faltering because of her sudden desire to have children, he meets his childhood sweetheart Odile (Renée Fokker), whom he has not seen for 47 years. As present and past collide, Bob must choose between what once was and what might still be. Because when nothing is certain anymore, who's to say it's too late to start again?
