Be amazed and surprised by the medieval atmosphere on the tournament field and wander through the House of Wax encampment. Smell the aromas of a medieval kitchen, learn about medieval crafts such as dyeing wool or making rope, and enjoy the cheerful singing, music and dancing. The youngest knights can take part in games, become a knight at Den Kleyne Draeck knight school and even hold a echt sword! Is that not enough? Then join the sword-fighting workshop and cheer on your favourite knight during an impressive sword-fighting show.

Run around the fortress, try your hand at archery like a castle archer, take part in knightly games and discover how children used to spend their free time. During the summer holidays, Slot Loevestein is transformed into one big play fortress where history comes to leven . From 4 July to 30 August, everything revolves around spelen through the ages.
Practical information
Slot Loevestein is open daily during the summer holidays from 10.00 to 17.00. Admission is free with the Museum Card and the VriendenLoterij VIP Card.
