The charm of an old fortress also has a disadvantage: buses and coaches cannot drive through the old centre. The car park for a bus or coach is just outside the fortress, at Kanselpoortweg 1.
However, groups and people with difficulty walking can be dropped off in the fortress at the bus stop in Krijtstraat. This is near the Grote Toren.
