Gorinchem also has a historische haven. In the extension of the Lingehaven is a harbour with 6 historic ships just outside the Korenbrug, at the foot of the Korenmolen. A nice quiet spot on the edge of the Gorcum town centre. The berths are owned by the municipality of Gorinchem and are rented out as permanent berths to inhabited historically valuable ships.
Overnight stays as a passer-by in the historische haven
You can, but think of your neighbours because these are inhabited vessels. If you want to moor alongside someone, ask permission first. When an occupant and his ship are away, passers-by are allowed to spend the night at the free berth. There is no electricity or water for passers-by here, as the facilities are in the name of the occupants. The passerby fee is the same as in the Lingehaven and guests are required to report to the havenkantoor.
