Grote Toren
You can see the Grote Toren from afar. It is therefore the most striking building in the fortress! Definitely not to be missed during a photo tour of Gorinchem. The iconic tower suffered from subsidence during its reconstruction. This created a kink in the structure that puts the tower more than one and a half metres out of plumb.
