'This is in Abraham's womb' was already a Catholic schuilkerk in 1633 and remained so until 1815. When the old building was replaced for a new one in 1669, they still got into trouble with the Reformed Congregation and the Vroedschap (city council). They thought the design of the building looked too much like a church and that was not allowed. After adjusting the design and an inspection, it was turned a blind eye. Besides this schuilkerk, there was another schuilkerk in the house 'De Koevoet' on Hoogstraat 5, with the entrance on Eendvogelsteeg, and 'Het Kruys' on Langendijk, between Kerksteeg and Kraansteeg. Together with 'Het Klooster', four shelter churches were thus active at the time.

Monument description
Year built: 1669. Restored Evangelical Lutheran Church. Simple hall church originally Old Catholic, rebuilt in 1842, accessible through a gate in the house Langendijk 70-74. In the gateway beautiful lantern with neo-Gothic motifs. Two-manual organ, made in 1859 by Kam and Van der Meulen using some pipework by J.D. Nolting from 1809.
