Round trips on the great rivers. That is possible with sailing heritage schokker Janus. The schokker lies in Woudrichem's historic city harbour and dates from 1924. After a flash refurbishment, a trial cruise was held in 2023. The schokker is equipped with an electric motor and sails effortlessly for five hours. A day out in Woudrichem starts in the harbour shed with text and explanation on the lost river fishing. Groups of up to 12 people can book via www.waalschokker.nl. For larger groups, salmon steamers and fish dealer DD13 are called in. Floating restaurant De Stroming will provide catering on request.
