It all started in 1919 when Sommer Pianos established itself in the centre of Gorinchem.
Now after almost 100 years, it has grown into a music shop of significance. Many musicians, from amateur to professional, have found their way to our shop, and they still do!
With a wide range of pianos, guitars and other musical instruments, the new shop, Sommer Music Store, opened its doors on the Appeldijk in early October 2018.
Sommer Music Store is the merger of Sommer Pianos and Grand pianos, and Rene Meulmeester's guitar workshop. The merger of these two companies provides Gorinchem, as well as the whole of the Netherlands, with an ideal place for musicians and music lovers. A place where you will be assisted with experience and knowledge.
