The Merwede
From this point you look out over the Woelse Waard and the Upper Merwede. This beautiful river forms the border between South Holland and North Brabant and is part of an important transport route between Antwerp, Rotterdam and Germany. Fortunately, besides commercial shipping, there is plenty of room for recreational boating and a crossing to Woudrichem and Slot Loevestein.
