Fort Altena is located right by the A27 motorway and is a Brabant Nature Gateway for the Biesbosch and the Land of Heusden and Altena. A beautiful, green environment with an extensive cycling and walking route network.
The fort has a catering facility with good parking facilities. You will also find lots of information about the nature reserve and several (themed) routes start here.
