For over 15 years, the TOETS Foundation has been based at this beautiful location Buiten de Waterpoort. Boudewijn Verhoef builds keyboard instruments from the Baroque period here, not only harpsichords, but also clavichord and small organ are manufactured in this workshop. The instruments he builds are copies of original instruments usually found in museums. During your visit, Boudewijn is happy to explain what his work consists of and the mechanics are explained using many examples. In the small showroom, several instruments are displayed. Downstairs is the workshop where a chest organ is currently under construction. The workings of this are also explained.
