Blossom & Fruit route
Cycle from Gorinchem through the Betuwe, the fruit garden of the Netherlands. The route follows the idyllic little river Linge, which meanders quietly through the beautiful landscape. Between Geldermalsen and Gorinchem, the Linge is at its most beautiful. You cycle on the Lingedijk via Arkel to the glass city of Leerdam. You follow the Linge through the dike villages of Acquoy and Rhenoy to Beesd and Landgoed Mariënwaerdt. Near Geldermalsen, you cycle on the other side of the Linge back to Gorinchem, passing Enspijk, Gellicum, Asperen and Heukelum. Especially recommended in spring when the blossoms are in bloom!
